LEGO’s Friends line, which utilises mini dolls, may not be the most popular sets for many collectors out there, even though you get some great elements in them. LEGO has now introduced the mini dolls to the DC Comics characters, for the first time with six new DC Super Hero Girls sets.
Photos release so far of the DC Super Hero Girls line, which takes popular characters from the DC Super Hero Girls comic books. The great thing about these sets is that they don’t have the offensive friends colour pallette that so many builders dislike.
The first three sets, which will be available early in the US (November 27), include the amazing Batgirl’s Batjet set ($US24.99 [$33]), Harley Quinn to the Rescue ($US29.99 [$40]) and the large Super Hero High School set ($US79.99 [$106]), featuring Supergirl, Poison Ivy and Lena Luthor. Australian pricing has not yet been announced.
On January 1 the series goes worldwide, with three new sets being released as well. The final three are Wonder Woman Dorm Room ($US19.99 [$26]), which includes an invisible motorcycle, Bumblebee Helicopter ($US14.99 [$20]) and Lashina Tank ($US14.99 [$20]).
Perhaps this is the line that will get the bulk of collectors to maybe not complain as much about the mini doll creations….
